WHY BANANA REPUBLIC IS A MUST-SHOP STOP FOR FALL

I will admit, while it's still 100° outside, it's hard to imagine shopping for your new fall wardrobe, but now is the time. I like to plan ahead so when I'm ready to throw on a jacket and scarf, I already have a surplus of great pieces to chose from.  Banana Republic has outdone itself for fall this year.  I'm obsessing over the layers of structured jackets and bold colors found in the ready to wear collection.

How did it get to be Mid-August already?!  The good news is, when you live in Las Vegas, summer is really more like five months instead of three.  From May til' about the end of September, we are still sun-bathing at the pool with a tropical drink in hand.  But for the parents out there living anywhere else besides the desert, you might be celebrating the end of summer for a different reason. The kiddos are heading back to school!  So start your guest list and get the grill ready, it's time to celebrate summer in style with the perfect pool party.

I finally got a chance to pop into Target yesterday and basically fell in love with everything in the Eddie Borgo collection.  Of course, there wasn't too much left on the shelves, but you can find the entire collection online here. These galaxy bags are out of this world! bah ha ha!

Did you know that this blog, my baby, was born while I was living in Denmark?  It was inspired by the simplistic, yet intricate design that was beyond anything I'd seen before. There is an elegant element, to the casual style and feel of danish fashion design. Balanced, clean lines, yet chic enough to make you feel like you should be walking the runway, when you're only browsing at the blomst marked. (flower market)
