STREET ART INSPIRATION: DOWNTOWN LAS VEGAS

If you've noticed my social media lately, you might already know that just moved back home to Las Vegas. Leaving Los Angeles was/is bittersweet and I will continue to commute back and forth for work, but there are many reasons I needed to relocate for now.  Most of them being personal and I hope to open up in the near future and share.  I wasn't sure how I felt about being back in Vegas again, but it's exactly where I need to be. Recently I attended the Life Is Beautiful Festival where my good friends and local Las Vegas band, Goldboot opened the show (shameless promo plug because they are that awesome!) and I discovered the most ah-mazing street art in Downtown Las Vegas.

I was excited when Perrier® Sparkling Natural Mineral Water asked me to team up so I could help introduce the new limited edition bottles and cans while featuring my fave local street art.

When I originally moved to Vegas in 1992, it was light years away from having any sense of culture. It was basically known for its' bright lights, loud slot machines, cheap beers and the faint memories of the Rat Pack. These days, Vegas is filled with a different kind of energy, more vibrant and happy. It feels more alive with art and music and the city prides itself on its’ dedicated community, as they strive to keep it this way.

It was nice to take a little stroll through the downtown area and see how much it had changed.  I was full of inspiration and secretly wished I had the talent of these awesome artists.
